Do you guys let the red input leds light up at all during your playing? With my Emg 81 equipped quitar they come on when I am chugging but are not always on. Should I make it so that they don't come on at all? I guess you could say that they are on 50-60% of the time now. Also, where would I adjust this exactly? Thanks!!
 
Thank You! Will this reduce the gain that hits the amp block or is this compensated for? Also, do you allow your red lights to come on at all?
 
From the manual (3.1):
Changing input levels will NOT affect what you hear. Inputs are compensated, meaning that as you lower trims
to optimize signal-to-noise ratio going into the converters, the output of the converters is adjusted inversely
so “what you hear” (and what reaches the signal processor) always remains the same.
