Input EQ?

Explain to me what "input eq" would be on the amp block. If I like a good mids boost going into an distorted amp, does the input eq cover this feature and remove the need for having a PEQ/GEQ block before the amp?

Is the input eq parametric or graphic?

Other than take the place of a typical ts808 in front , with the drive down , wouldn't this , more or less be a way of changing the character of a pickup/guitar ?

Always has been. The same as on the Axe II.

You have a range of GEQs to choose from. Or you can drop a PEQ after the Amp if you prefer.

Reducing the high cut from say 20000hz down to 8000hz would effectively do what to my signal path?

Is it the same as reducing the similar parameters at the cab block?
