In the room ambience, adding life and depth?

Morning Champions,

I have absolutely loved my AX8 and once I have mastered it I'll certainly be upgrading to the III (it'll take a while haha),

Are there any tips to adding some room reverb and ambience post recording to bring a bit more depth and life to the tones.
I love the sound of my ax8 but I'm always a tiny bit disappointed post recording because I can't seem to get it to sound as good as live (room volume, etc).

Long story short any advice on room reverb / ambience or even general mastering advice would be amazing!

Thank you advance legends,

Pat

I am Chris, sorry I should have said, I'm hearing dry tones that sound direct recorded (I mean they are so it's accurate haha), I'm just after more depth and body and room sound
cool.

are you double tracking? it adds a lot of body and almost all recorded guitars we hear are.

as for room sound, any reverb with the mix set to your preference will do that.
