Sadly and strangely, I was there that night at Alpine Valley, and saw the helicopters parked there, and wondered if anyone was crazy enough to try to fly in this crappy weather......
Yeah! I tried that one but with my strat it wasn’t as close. I know he eventually replaced the vibroverbs with super reverbs and then those with bassmans in the 90s.Sounds great. FWIW Stevie's weapon of choice was a Vibroverb with an EV 15".
Yeah! Those are DiMarzio Virtual Vintage. I believe its Virtual vintage 54 in neck and middle and virtual solo on the bridge!Sounds fantastic! Love that neck pup tone- throaty and beefy. Do you mind me asking what pickups do you have installed on that guitar?
