Hello,
I'm working on a vocoder patch that could mimic the effect (I think it was a digitech harmonizer) used on "Hyde and Seek".
I have problems with intelligibility of the speech.
Do you have some suggestions?

no, i think it's actually a vocoder on that great track. are you using the vocoder in the axe? you'll need to mix the dry vocal and the vocoder together, so it's not all vocoder (like on imogen's track)

edit: just read online that is was indeed a tc harmonizer/voicelive/fx unit of some sort, but i think she's performed it live with vocoder (it's a very similar sound)

Yes, I'm using the axe fx vocoder. The mid bass range is always very confusing, even with various processing. I'll post later a patch to give an idea. Thanks
 
It doesn't work like that. She is playing the vocoder harmony with her keyboard. That song has notes one semitone apart and it changes all the time.

A different harmonizer for every chord could work..... with scenes.... it's possible.
