Im the only one that keep the screen protector on the unit?

Me too. I thought about peeling it off and affixing it to bumper sticker backing for preservation, but naw, still on there!
 
I have a standard and a II. Film has been on the standard since mid-2007. I peeled it off the II.

also had it left on my 4year old axe standard, this way it felt "new" every day :D

I'm even worse. I took mine off then made a custom fit one out of static cling vinyl. Then I put a blue light at the back of my rack case. If I had a disco ball, that'd be on there somewhere too for sure. :)

I think that the people who are taking the cover off are maniacs :twisted:lol
 
No way, not for me, the crappy plastic thingy gets taken off and thrown away a mere second or two after ownership! I protect the screen by not touching it. Duh!
