Yes, you can use the axe for bass too!
Daddario sent me a beta sample of their NYXL Bass strings, so I did a review. I like them a lot. They sorta have the same sound that the guitar strings do, meaning they are crisp. I think they are pretty cool.
I used a tonematched patch of a Darkglass pedal, mixed with the camera mic. I used the camera mic as more of a DI. What I should have done was recorded a DI and use a different patch. Anyway, enjoy.
