This confirmed my suspicions. He's had the III since 2012 (note the Tee Shirt).....beta testing by him, the Edge, Vai, Lifeson, etc.....

John uses the RJM Mastermind GT22 with his Axe FX II and Boogie. I'd imagine he'd be sticking with that when he goes over to the III.

John does switch his own sounds during the shows. His tech has another MMGT back stage just in case.

Here's a rig rundown from a couple of years back. I don't think it's changed much. Matty his tech said he switches presets for him but John changes most of his sounds himself. Looking forward to hearing the III with the Boogie JP2C.
