How is this EPROM at $35 a pop better than the UNO at about $10-$12 a pop?
I've got my FCB1010 programmed so that the 10 pedals in the FCB's bank 0 (zero) are all stompbox controls. The rest of the FCB's banks (1 thru 10) select patches. Bank 1 selects patches 1 thru 10, bank 2 selects patches 11 thru 20, bank 3 selects patches 21 thru 30 and so on.Having 10 buttons for stompbox mode would be nice.

Can you share your .syx file? I didn't realize you can do that with the UNO mod.I've got my FCB1010 programmed so that the 10 pedals in the FCB's bank 0 (zero) are all stompbox controls. Having 10 stomps with LEDs is worth the 35$ - stomps with no LEDs is painful as I have found using the UNO chip - they are only useful for very audible effects - for more subtle effects you'll just be confused if it's on or off.
I've contacted E Sound and they tell me there is no need for an editor with their chip. After installing the chip you program it for the setup it will be used with (PP mode for Axe-FX users) when you power up the 1010 for the first time after installation. The buttons used for stomp box mode are already programmed. You just need to edit the CC numbers in your Axe-FX to match those of the pedals.would the fcb1010 editor work with this chip?
