If you are tweaking or making patches, record DIs first

I know this may have been said before but if you are making patches, record DIs. Once you do that make sure your Axe FX II is connected to your computer via USB. Set the inputs on your tracks to 3 and 4 in your DAW's I/O settings and then record the DIs. Solo the DI tracks and then go into I/O panel and go to the second page. Change the from into to USB and then you will be able to make changes and hear them happen in real time. This makes things so much easier and lets you focus on the sound of the patch.

I have tried it with the looper but havent had good success. I like doing it with DIs so that way I can get a good idea how it will sound panned left and right in my DAW. But yes, the looper is good too!
