I read about the Axe-Fx II more than I play it :-(

I have to spend 40 to 50 hours a week in front of a computer in an office building with no access to guitars or Axe. If it wasn't for gear forums I'd already be insane.

I know how all of y'all feel. I work in the oil field of the gulf of Mexico as a boat captain. I work 28 days on and 14 days off. 9 months out of the year I live on a boat. The only time I get to touch my axe is when I'm off for my 14 days. And that's only after I finish handling bills errands around the house. Cuz I'm not married and don't have kids. I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the picture lol.

Where was the Axe Fx when I was in my 20's and had all the free time in the world?? I'm convinced I would be a much better guitar player today if I had an Axe Fx back then. Now at 40 with a 3 year old and an attention-craving wife, I'm lucky if I get 20 minutes of play time a night. Sometimes I wish I was single!

AXE FX.... The guitar player's Viagra!! LOL.

Well at least this post struck a chord! Ouch! More bad news is that my youngest kid is 19 but I'm too knackered to play after working & commuting! There's something addictive about this forum though... but you pickup so much useful & time saving info all's good.
