I like to fidadle with the guitar (new technique)

Here's a few licks and stuff and shiet from my latest practice session. maybe you like some of the ideas or sumthin. I just came up with a new technique for 6-string string skipping. think of violinists, the way they have to slant (slanting(?) their bow to switch between strings. well I figured it would make sense to do on the guitar too. it makes sense in the way that it's easier to jump between strings when you have a different angle or handbow (rainbow) for each string skip. skipping between the low E and D string is one kind of bow, while skipping between the low E and high E is a huuuge bow - as in the exact bow made by the hand jumping between strings. when jumping from low E to high E you can make a signature "bow" to be saved in muscle memory, that way it's way easier.

I also anchor my hand so that I always have a feel of where the strings are. some people say never anchor the hand, my findings are that the anchor is a huge tool for string referance. I don't anchor it in a way that makes some stuff harder to do, I just have my pinky there so that I can jump to lets say the B-string without even blinking. it makes me fingers feel where the b-string is at all times etc. I hope you find inspiration from this video. I work a lot on technique (that's all I do, lol) and I've written a bachelor degree task about "guitar technique based on Shawn Lane". I like players such as Allan Holdsworth, Brett Garsed, Marshall Harrison, Frank Gambale, Buckethead and many more.
