I know this is old news but...

I moved from a Behringer K3000FX to a JBL PRX612M and the difference is ridiculous. When people say that the FRFR rig you play with makes a huge difference, they're right. I'm A/Bing them right now and it's amazing. The Behringer has all lows and highs and no definition in between. The PRX by comparison has note clarity, adequate lows, and very pronounced highs (a little too pronounced, but that can be EQ'd). Don't get me wrong, the Behringer is great at what it does, it's a 4 channel PA system with 7 band EQ for less than 250 used... but there's a reason why it's 250.

I'm sure the jump from the PRX to a CLR would be eye opening too, but for a bargain price of $350, I'll keep the PRX for now :)

I was a little disappointed with the AXE at first (playing through Behringer), because I felt like it needed a ton of EQ to sound right. With the PRX, I choose an amp and cab, and it sounds really good right away. Within 10 minutes you can have a great sound with the typical PEQ block.
