Sorry but I am asking again anyway...........I really wish we had more info on this. I was so excited when Cliff first posted the pict and then that gigantic thread started.

Is there any "newer" news? really? I know FAS would never rush anything but I guess I was thinking with all the helix talk and stuff that we might get some more news.

Well, they could play a clip from the Axe II and you wouldn't know the difference.

Does this come with a clear dome shield for drunks that get on stage and spill stuff? I use to wrap my ADA controller in clear vinyl back in the day when we were on the road and partying hard.

Is there any way to tell the difference in CPU power between the Fx II XL and the Axe8? As in ... if a preset uses 70% on the Fx II XL then it will use X% on the Ax8?
