I can't get a decent live acoustic tone with a piezo pickup

I did notice an improvement. The left and right sides are different. I think they used two different mics for the recording
 
Piezo pickups are definitely not all created equally too. Some just sound clanky and bad, while others are pretty decent even direct. Plus, a piezo pickup that sounds amazing in one guitar may sound like total crap in another.

Maybe I'm onto something here : ) I think it's not too dissimilar from the video. I used the double channel approach, thanks Simeon!
