I thought I would be able to talk to MFC Edit via my midi to USB device. So I plugged in the power supply. Plugged in my Midi In/Out. Changed the way my MFC talks to midi. Plugged my usb cable in open up MFC edit and it’s like I have to go through my XL+ to use this? Can I not just run straight from the MFC to my computer?

Potentially useful info from the manual:

"MFC-Edit is known to work with the following USB/MIDI Interfaces:
    • Axe-Fx as a USB Interface

    • Roland UM-One (my personal favorite)

    • E-MU midi1X1

    • CMD U2MIDI

    • iConnectMIDI 4+

... there are likely many other interfaces that will work just fine, but we've tested with the above interfaces and can vouch that they work..."
