No Hughes and Ketnner yet!
Hughes and Kettner Triamp Schematics
Im guessing all those sounds are already in the axe, but like you I like to see the actual amp and figure Cliff knows more than I what is going on.
I thought the Triamp was a Fender (clean), Vox and Marshall (Plexi) in one package.
There is nothing new in there.
I've always been peripherally interested in a model of one of these because of Alex Lifeson, but I agree that there isn't really a distinct H&K sound that wouldn't already been achievable in the AxeFx. Not that I would complain if they modeled it, but I imagine Cliff still has a long list of amps he wants to include before he would get to an H&K.
It really is true. We have all these sound in Ax Fx.
My fault. I think it's beautiful. I had to choose between him and Ax and here I am.
Thank you all
I would welcome anything H&K!!!
Very efficient how they approach gain structure:
California Clean, British, Brown Sound, American High Gain
Not sure how you would model the Tri-amp... 15 Tubes!!
Way more amp than I would ever want to maintain in real life.
The Triamp is the best amp I've ever played in life. Best sound, best feel, best response, most versatility.
Indeed it was based upon pre-existing amps, but whatever it is that they did with its circuitry truly set it apart from anything I've ever touched.
If there's a way to figure out what makes this amp what it is - PLEASE - DO model it!
I would actually pay for that
