Host of the original Gong Show!!!
What an eclectic show it was... Barris had the most onstage energy of any host ever!!!
 
.....the new Gong .show has had its moments , too, but that host is a bit much....especially since it is impossible to look at him and not think someone resurrected Robin Williams and zombie was forced to wear Mrs. Doubtfire makeup.

My wife and I were discussing this a couple weeks ago if he was supposed to be Mike Myres in a costume... or actually trying to fool people?
I love the persona and hope he continues, but that makeup has got to get old pretty quick!!
However... he cant hold a candle to Barris!!! He was nuts!!!! LOL

The funniest/saddest thing about the popsicle twins bit is the audience reaction. Some of the crowd went immediately full-on strip club. Hearing what they were saying and their tone, really brought me back to that time.
