So after a year of being on the fence, my II arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Tone matching aside (which I really haven't even gotten into) the amps all sound fantastic. It's just an amazing unit.
Historically I've used soft-sims for recording and I would always record raw input of guitar and could always change the amp settings etc later.
I understand this can also be done via Axe via re-amping, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've scanned the manual didn't spot anything to this effect.
Does anyone know how I would do this? Is there an ability to send both a processed and un-processed signal back to my DAW so I can record both? Then later if I wanted to play around with diff amps I could play that un-processed track back through the axe.
Thanks in advance!
