How to go from OMG9 back to FM3 3 button?

I set up OMG9 (which is awesome)
For one band I am in…

But the other I only need the FM3
And 3 Presets…so I wouldn’t even bring the FC6…

How do I get the 3 button view back if the FC6 is not plugged in

You should load the "Factory Default Layouits & Settings" from the FC Controllers menu on the unit (SETUP: FC Controllers: Reset). This will put it back to a mode that works without the FC6.

When you use it with your FC6, use the same menu screen to get back to the default OMG9 setup.

If you're customizing the switches in either mode, you'll want to save the customizations with FM3-Edit and load and restore them from files you saved to disk. You can do this from the Layouts section of the FC Edit view in FM3-Edit:

I was trying to find that and failed! Thanks. The manual for OMG9 only says the FM3 is "parked" in FC6 control mode: https://www.fractalaudio.com/downloads/manuals/FM3/FM3-OMG9-Manual.pdf

Thanks…. Just change the layout from layout 8 (OMG9) to my scenes layout for the preset….

This thread has an alternate layout that really allows you to have both layouts loaded so you only have to set your startup layout and you can bounce between FM3 alone or with the FC6. I don't understand.

Only the FM3 I used the dial and changed the layout from 8 to the layout with my fm3 only
