How to create a "tube drive" tone with FX8 on bass

Any bass player uses FX8 here besides me? Or maybe who use the AxeFx II could help.

Which drive type I can simulate a decent or the most real possible "TUBE DRIVE" tone that sounds good for bass?

Just with the drive block. I don't want to use Eq block or other blocks to this "tube drive" tone.

Anyone?

The real bass amps that I use are: ampeg svt 4 pro, ash down evo 3 900 and a fender tb-1200
:(

"Tube Drv 3-Knob" and "Tube Drv 4-Knob". Mind you, these are the BK Butler / Chandler pedals and not intended for bass, but I'm guessing that if you start with the mix at 0% and increase it slowly, you might find something that works.

Or select any of the drives and choose the HV Tube clipping type.

I play both guitar and bass. I have found some of the drive algorithms surprisingly versatile. Try these settings but play with the wet dry. These are set at 100% for guitar at the moment but sound nice (to my ears) with bass. I really like touch sensitive-edge-of-breakup sounds and I think these work well.

hope you enjoy
