How many delays at once?

So... I'm a bit of a delay addict and I love patches with a ton of different delays. Currently in my Axe-FX II+ I can do two multi delays. a regular delay, and a reverb, and two pitch blocks (plus all the regular guitar stuff) before I start hitting 90% CPU.

How many delays and reverbs can be used at once in an Axe-FX III patch?

IN1, AMP, CAB, 2 x PIT (Pitch), 4 x DLY (Delay), 2x MTD (MultiTap Delay), 2 x MGT (MegaTap Delay), 2 x PLX (Plex Delay), 2 x TTD (Ten Tap Delay), OUT1 = 57%

I think you'll be fine. :)
Check my math:

PIT in Quad Shift = 4 delays (x2 blocks = 8 delays)
DLY = 2 delays (x4 blocks = 8 delays)
MTD = 4 delays (x2 blocks = 8 delays)
MGT = 40 taps (x2 blocks = 80 taps)
PLX = 8 delays (x2 blocks = 16 delays)
TTD = 10 taps (x2 blocks = 20 taps)

8+8+8+16 = 40 pure delays (i.e. you can set time on)
80+20 = 100 taps (shaped, not each specified individually)
100+40 = 140 INITIAL taps of delay on hand without touching a feedback control!

And that's less than half the CPU power. o_O

Don't forget that the Delay block supports dual delays ;)

If I'm understanding the documented options correctly (I'm not in front of my II to confirm), that's what gave me the DLY = 2 delays count. Is there something I'm missing?

Oops... Sorry, I guess I read it wrong :)

Just got my Axe-FX II in December, can't believe I'm already thinking about this, but this amount of delay power is too tempting to pass up :) I love playing ambient music on my guitar, among other things.

My only consolation is that that I think I'm far enough on the waitlist that I probably have till at least May before I need to order the III.

No worries. It's tricky to keep track of it all.

I'm going to have to experiment with this to see how long I can make one note last. (If the next 10 min. of the wait list ever get here. :p)

Yeah... I'm 15 minutes away, and no invites since Friday. I'm chomping at the bit!
