How do I?

I'm sure this has been posted before but I don't have a clue as to where to find the answer. Say I have a particular favorite preset that I want to copy to a new Preset #, so as to modify it in it's new location without disturbing the original preset? I'm sure this must be possible, I just don't have a clue as to where to find the info on how to do it.

From front panel just press the Save button, it will ask which preset number you want to save to. Choose that and Save again.

Additionally, if you’re in Axe Edit opening one of the menus at top left will reveal an option named Save to New Preset or something similar

Do you mean the 'STORE' button? My XL II+ doesn't have a 'SAVE' button.

Yes. press Store once. then you have options on that menu, such as changing the Preset Location and adjusting the Name.

when you're done with that, press Enter once and it will confirm you want to do that, and press Enter again to commit to storing.

so that makes Store, Enter, Enter is the full command to store.

Yep, sorry... I couldn't remember if it was SAVE or STORE.

Also if you're using Axe Edit you can save snapshots - very handy to keep multiple versions when building your sound.
