How do I reset an effects block?

How do you reset an effects block without being in axe edit. I am on the grid screen and can bypass an effect and edit, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to reset a block.

Were you using a printed manual or a PDF version? The beauty of the PDF version is you can search it which makes using it a whole lot easier. No "combing" required.
