How do I get a Gilmour like rotary?

I believe the 2nd solo in Comf Numb has it, or something like it.

I think he never really turns the rotary off, especially live, just a subtle part of his overall tone

Saw pink floyd Animals tour in an outdoor place Jeppeson stadium Houston someone had given us some tabs to eat
I kept saying think those were duds cause its not doing a damn thing too me about that time they floated the giant pig over us all
