How do I delete past forum attachments?

I went to upload a couple of screenshots in a post I was making earlier today, and the uploads 'failed'. It turns out they didn't fail, but I was advised I was over my 1 MB quota.

I went to 'manage attachments' and could't see a way to delete any of the attachments - what's the trick?

When logged in, click 'Settings' link at top of page - then go to 'Attachments' under 'Miscellaneous'. Check the box alongside the attachments you want to delete (or select all by using the checkbox at very top) and scroll down and hit the delete button ... I think.
