HOOK Capt 3B patch demo

Glenn DeLaune

Inspired
Here is a sample of my HOOK Capt 34 patch. This entire piece is played with Scene 3. That's the one with the most gain. Also the delay is engaged for the entire segment.

Scene 1: Crystal Clean (using the AC-20, my favorite Clean Amp)
Scene 2: Crunch (Here is where we switch to the Hook amp)
Scene 3: Gain (This scene also uses the Hook amp)
Scene 4: Lead (Not a scene but a Control Switch that engages a drive pedal an EQ and a Ducking Delay that will give you some nice trails at the end of a lead passage)

Top row from left to right:
Chorus On/Off, Drive pedal On/Off, Pitch On/Off, Delay On/Off (not the delay used for leads but another delay you can toggle on or off at any time). Enjoy

Glenn, your guitar is wired 046 - 010's here aren't you ? The sound of this Hook amp is incredible BTW. Can come quite close but 011 - 054 are too thick for really getting the "finesse" out of this amp.

Yes Sir, I use 10-46 Elixer Nano-web
One of my good intentions for 2018....get back to lower gauged strings. I string 011 since 2005 after 20 years of 010's, now age getting forward I happen to suffer cramps during longer continuous sessions. Unfortunately...I'll have to finish my 011 stock first...
Really beautiful patch.

Added: and playing, of course !
