With the FC dimensions now available, it's apparent that my trusty old NYC Pedalboards case is going to be retired.

I was just surfing Reverb for boards... These "stock" versions of these start at about $650.

Whenever I see one of those huge pedal boards, with a controller on it with dedicated loops and switchers and MIDI capability I can't help but think that for the same kind of money they could have gotten an Axe FX with controller and gotten an infinitely less complex system. The more complex your pedal board becomes, the bigger the chance Murphy will have a field day with it one day. I speak from experience.

Geeze what a beautiful board. I'd have to buy a road case to put it in. Then a dolly to carry it. Put a lift on the back of my car to get it into the hatch. Yeah, I know, I need to draw the line somewhere and the lift would be overkill.

Unfortunately, owning the best unit in the universe leads you to search for something to have GAS for (guitars excluded).
I think that my studio gears improved since I purchased my Axe-Fx ULTRA back in 2008
