High gain amp With good note definition.

Hi Guys I have been using the FAS Modern for my go to high gain tones. I am noticing that it is lack in some note definition for certain passages for a new band I have joined. I am wondering if there is a recommendation for a good High Gain amp with more clarity and note definition. Thanks guys.

low gain is the trick! then double track

i use a drive pedal with no drive (0-1) and high volume (around 8-9) then into an amp with low gain (2-4)

CA 3 lead+. Great both issues. dare ya to find heavier, underused it seems.

Ok, here is my latest trick for HiHiGain : Ruby Rocket !
The secret trick is setting its MV to 10.0 then its MV Trim to 8.5 (a thing your brain would not try if adjusting by eyes ;))
Then its Hell on Earth ! :)
Very nice! Dial back the guitar volume opens it up w/o losing power. Yeah, my eyes said 'what?' haha!

FAS modern has loads of definition- if you increase the input trim so you are hitting the front end of the amp block harder and decrease the amp gain you will get a tighter, more defined feel to your tone.

Another thing I sometimes do is to put a drive block with the treble boost selected before the amp, and blend it in by setting the mix control to about 10-20%.
