Hey guys just a quick query about running 2 cabs!

Hey everyone, just wondering how many of you guys/girls run 2 cabs for your patches?
It seems to make the tone a lot more full and big sounding.
Just wanted some feedback on as to why and if any one else does this regularly
Thanks a lot everyone.

I usually use Cab Lab or similar to blend my IR's, so I only use a mono lo res cab block. Saves on CPU

Why don't you give me an idea of the tone that you're trying to dial? Most of us are knowledgable and helpful in your quest for tone.

Btw, Cab Lab is Fractal's IR blending utility. It's great

Alright cool... I'm going for a sludgy crusty tone, but I'm not wanting it to be ultra ultra filthy i still want a little bit of definition. Playing through a Gibson SG standard. Any tips on amps and cabs and drive would be great man. Thanks again

For the nasty, I prefer the old school approach... Mesa 2:Nintey >> 2 Recto Cabinets (4*12 + 2*12 @ 4 Ohms).

No IR's or simulators required for that.... However, if your are thinking of the FRFR approach, then as the other bloke mentioned above, consider CAB lab and probably a SS power amp.

Lot's of options, shop around and find what's right for you! I highly recommend trying anything before you buy it.
