Help with tone

Hello all I have an AX8 and am running into a mackie HD1531 ,it has a very full sound but its like someone chopped the top off the treble the highs aren't there so I also run a line 6 guitar amp and box to get the highs and together the sound is good but the whole idea was cutting down of gear not to drag around 2 setups. I have tried turning off cab sim but not much difference. Any one have any ideas?

Yes that’s a subwoofer if he has the right one listed.
@steveofoz Can you confirm? If that is the sub model that is why you are getting no high end.

That's a full range speaker.

Have you tried playing program music the speaker and see how it sounds?

Have you checked the EQ on the back of the speaker to make sure the highs aren't turned down? Looks like you can also bypass the EQ?

You want power Amp and Cab modeling ON with this speaker.
