Help with a couple special effects

I'm looking for help recreating the filter effect at 0:52, and the fuzzish sound at 2:06. My band is covering this song for our annual 80's metal bash this year. Let me know if you have ideas.

0:52 sounds like phaser with lots of feedback.
Try Block 90 mode, rate about 0.25 Hz, depth at 10, feedback at -85%, start freq at 250 Hz, freq span at 2, the rest at defaults and tweak from there. Put if after the Amp block for a more pronounced filter sound.

2:06 sounds like bit crusher distortion. Default settings for the bit crusher mode are a good place to start.

After listening to the track, I had to look up who played the drums. Damn Dave Grohl is a killer drummer.

I would try a flanger for the 1st and bit crusher for the 2nd. I would try to give more details on settings, but I am not in front of the Axe. Good Luck! Joe
