Hello All! I'm a new axe fx ultra user. I just got my unit on ebay a little more than a week ago. Within the last two days I have been getting horrible noise when using the front input. To troubleshoot I plugged into my carvin 200DCM200L directly and had no noise. I then plugged into the line level input in the back and had no noise. The front has horrible noise. I've read about hissing but this is also low noise as well. I'm hoping someone didn't try to dump a lemon on me and there is just a setting that will make this go away.
Just as an example of how this has occurred I was jamming today. Went to the bathroom and came back and there was this horrible noise. I had been jamming on a preset and turned it to the bypass patch 384 and when i came back it was making the noise. I turned it off and on and it was still making the noise.
Any ideas?
