Help out a noob

I'm just getting used to programming my MFC with my Ultra. I wanted to switch between the amps in a patch. I've got on IA set to Amp1 and one to Amp2, which works, but means pressing two switches. Is there a way to switch bypassing Amp1/Amp2 with just one footswitch?

You can make one switch work as an amp A/B selector if you want.

IA Axe-FX function = none
Set the IA's CC# to that of an External Control. (Refer to Axe I/O: CTRL menu)
Assign that Ext Ctrl as bypass modifier source for both amps. Swap stard/end values of one of these modifiers.

I've noticed on some mfc tutorials folks might have a single IA with the label "Amp X/Y" always wondered how that worked. I suppose you can set any effect with this same approach

It uses the X/Y function instead of the Bypass.

However, I think X/Y is only an Axe Fx II thing...
