Help needed with looper (volume increase)

I am having a little trouble with the looper. I added the looper to the end of my chain and as a result the volume of the entire preset jumped and now the output is clipping. I branched off the second last block into the looper which runs straight to the output. The last block in the normal chain is a filter that I used for a solo boost. This increase in volume is there regardless of whether the looper block is bypassed or not, it is even there if I turn the level of the looper to 0. Anybody have any idea what is going on or have any suggestions? Should I just bring the level of the amp block down until it doesn't clip anymore?
 
You probably have mix at less than 100%; set it to 100%. Use one of the "mute" bypass modes if you need to bypass the looper for some reason.
 
Thanks for the reply, the mix is at 100%, it is really odd, I haven't used the looper in a while and never experienced this before. I lowered the level in the amp block and all seems to be good.
