Help needed re: Midi Buddy

Hello,
I have a midi buddy with 7 pin midi out.
The jack female of its Rolls power transformer doesn't fit in the DC imput jack of the Axe/Fx, so I put a line6 reduction jack...
Everything plugs flawlessy... but it doesn't work!
The pedalboard is not receiving power supply...
Do you have any suggestion?
I have a gig on 24th...
Thanks

Hi Woland,

don't panic  . If you don't get it sorted out, you can power the midi buddy directly tomorrow ...

To solve the problem, check on which pins your buddy needs the power. Mine (5 Pin connector) wants to have it on the pins 1 (neg) and 3 (pos). Check this out. I soldered my own connector 7 to 5 pin. Don't know on which of your 7 pin connector the power has to be. Maybe some RTFM?

Good luck! And have fun at the gig!

Micha
edit: Read your post once again and noticed, that the gig is on 24th and not in 24h  . You should have enough time to get this done.

Thanks Micha,
How did you manage to put the dc jack of the midi buddy into the Axe fx?
Actually I didn't. To be honest: I don't even own the original power supply. The midi buddy accepts a lot of different voltages from 7-25 VDC. So I took a cheapo adjustable power supply unit I already had. This one comes with different plugs and chose the right one. Never had a problem with it.
