There's a tone in the song Restless Souls by Angels and Airwaves at about 1:27 that I really like. It's the only guitar part at that point in the song. It's a simple little D-C-D-C-D-E-C chord riff. I've heard a similar tone in a few Blink songs too (Even if she Falls). I'm quite certain it's an AC30, and I do know he's using Axe3 now.
I've gotten close easily, but I'm just feeling like there's some magic missing from my attempts. There's a certain kind of electronic kind of buzz to it that's hard for me to describe.
Would anyone mind giving me their thoughts?
