PM me if you have had a new member reach out to your (Want ad) and is a new member, not many posts or likes, and uses the word "Friend" a lot in their PM posts.

I do not buy from new members PERIOD. Just trying to clean up something before it happens to someone else. Cheers!

Shouldn’t you let the admin‘s deal with this? They’re probably much better prepared with established policies.

I’d probably out the person I suspected to the admin’s and let them monitor it the situation.

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate what you’re trying to do here. I’ve seen it on other forums and honestly the admin‘s usually have the best tools to deal with this crap. 👍

I listed a wanted post for a Matrix GT1600FX and got a message from Newmanchris335 (who seems to have immediately deleted their account because now I can’t find, but luckily I screenshot the conversation) saying he had one for sale and so on. Then tries to have me send payment through Zelle to some other persons account. And only because I read this post ( I am new myself to this forum myself having just bought my first Fractal Axe FX 2) did I catch on. There are also good members out there too. Finally located a XA-1 on here by a good guy, so I could stop breaking those damn RJ45 plastic ends on my MFC-101. His method of choice was PayPal and sent invoice etc. everything legitimate. So I guess there’s good and bad everywhere. Just wanted to share my story of trying to be scammed today with you.
