I'm used to using my Axe 2 FRFR, but I'd like to test how it works to combine it with an amp onstage, just to get that extra kick in the butt. The only problem is that I'm used to a signal chain with all the time based effects after the cabinet. Putting the fx loop to feed out 2 after the amp will give me none of these effects in the amp on stage, just in the PA/monitors.
How do you guys go about this? Do you put delay, reverb etc between the amp and cabinet and put the cabinet at the end of the signal chain, or is there a magical trick here? If so, do you have any patches with a clever set up that you can share?
(Why can't there just be an option that lets you switch off cab sims just for output 2?)
