Helix 3u rack

Anyone else see the helix rack? It's 3u which I think is crazy! I haven't heard Pete thorn's demo yet, I'm curious, but man I think the whole thing is kind of funny!

I know its not possible, but a floor controller like the helix control would even be awesome to use with the axe. They definitely came up with some neat ideas that down the line FAS and other midi controller companies might be able to incorporate. I really like the way you can audition pedal types on the helix by selecting pedal edit mode then each switch becomes a parameter, you stomp it and the expression pedal controls it. All with your feet.

The large screen and all the routing jacks take up space.

Yeah, but then they would have had to program a different UI for it and I'm sure that would have been very costly and time-consuming.

Yes. Touchscreen combined with the contextual knobs would be fanastic. Intuitive and efficient.

I do like the touch screen idea and it does look badass. The axe fx next gen. W/ touch screen would be sick!

Probably, but after hearing how the amps sounds and the fe things it has compared to what the AX8 offers probably not, but in the future as they do, hopefully, HUGE improvements via Firmwares i could probably consider one.
