hearing ...pure, sweet, bliss

I spent several months, poking, tweaking, testing etc to create 5 original presets. Everyday would I come home and test them out again (with fresh ears) to see if I could improve upon them. Up until now I always found something I could tweak. Finally several days ago the poking, tweaking came to a halt. I could not Improve on the sound.

The axe is such an awesome piece of gear that it takes my breath away. Tonight was extra special because I got home early and the wifeee wasn't home. I was able to crank up the volume to live performance level. I was so blown away that I had to just reach out to this community and the Fractal team to say "Thanks".

I'm so pleased with my AXE FX2 Mk2. I can only imagine how much better the XL version is. My only concern now is that I'm not using conventional FRFR powered cabs. You see I was doing FRFR years ago, before the AXE fx was invented. Got mine (SAMSON XP200) in the late nineties (Cliff may have been in diapers . As such Ill bet that they are not as good as the one's mention in the community such as CLR edge, xitone, alto, etc. Therefore, Although my sound and timbre is perfect to my ears, Id bet that if you test my 5 presets you find them lacking low frequency. I think this because all the latest fractal bank presets sound too low in frequency for my speakers (muffled, not cutting thru the mix).

So one day Ill upgrade my FRFR. In the meantime Ill just hope that what the audience hears is what I'm hearing ...pure, sweet, bliss.
