Good luck mate….my wife and I are both wishing you the best
Pauly

It’s crazy how your whole life can change in an instant. Long post so here goes…

I’m sure many of you saw my comment about a health issue a few weeks ago and having to shut band things down for awhile due to a medical reason.
I have recently been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in my left lung.

I started having some slight heaviness and tightness in my chest a few days before our show last show back on Sunday Aug 29. I was ok at the show. It was brutally hot but I made it through ok. After the show, I decided to go get checked out the next day.
I went to an urgent care facility near our home and they did a chest X-Ray and CT Scan and discovered a 2” x 1” tumor in my left lung. I’ve been playing shows with a tumor in my lung. How Rock n Roll is that?

I have since been going to MD Anderson here in Houston for diagnosis and will soon start a very aggressive treatment as it has spread to some lymphnodes close by. The great news is that it hasn’t spread anywhere else in my body, blood or bones and the doctors have a curative plan of treatment for it. The key word here being curative. I am so blessed to be in the same city as this hospital. It is the best in the world.

With faith and prayers to the good lord above, the love and support of my amazing and strong wife, my family, my band mates, my incredible friends and a rockstar medical team, I will beat this and ring that bell.

Many of us have family and friends dealing with really bad stuff right now. Please pray for them.

Much love, blessing and good health to everyone.

@bishop5150,

I've kicked ass many nights using some of your shared (Randy) presets. You need to beat this... I'll be needing more of those presets!

Seriously, cardio issues are no joke, I have my share. Glad to hear you're in an area that can provide good care and you have good loving family support, that's important.

I'm wishing you the best for an exception-free recovery back to a normal healthy life.

Cheers, my brother! \m/

Sending you thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery Todd!!!!
You are one of the many shining lights in this Fractal Family, and I can't wait to see you kick this things ass and then write some amazing metal tunes when all is said and done!!!

Just saw this thread and pray you overcome this challenge. When you complete the course the doctors have you on, there are natural herbs and supplements that can help. Most are available online. My dad went through a tough time with colon cancer around 06 and I helped him research some of the natural and herbal treatments available. They did help him to feel better and he stayed very physically active.

All the best to you and your family in this difficult time. Nothing but positive thoughts for you. Now kick that tumor’s ass!! Speedy recovery, good sir.

In the years I've seen you post on various forums, you've never come across as anything but a class act. I've never seen a single negative post from you and I have little doubt that kind of character has built a large group of people around you who truly care and all have your back.

You're in my thoughts, brother. You're gonna rock this like it was a House Of Blues!

Hey man, as I read your post i am sorry to make notice of it... but, while reading i see that you got the spirit to beat this MF. Hope you will get trough treatment in the best speed time ever noted! Blessing to you and your family sir 🙏🤘

Someone very close to me beat lung cancer, despite being decades older than you and continuing to smoke! :( Wishing you all the best, strength through the process, and a speedy recovery.

Best wishes for you...
I really can empathize what this means and how whole life changes because of such a diagnosis.
Not me in person directly but my wife. And so my life also changed too.
This shit is following my wife and me and we recognize it everywhere and more often since she's got her diagnosis Dec 2019.
She's getting now her 2nd Chemo and we hope the best.

And FWIW, my father had esophageal cancer, the doctor’s told him he had a 17% chance to live and had to undergo a 20 hour surgery performed by two different specialists; they had to remove 3” of his esophagus and a 1/4 of his stomach then stitch them back together. The surgery alone was crazy as they had to start on his chest but finish it through his back. He was in straight shit health leading up to it and he’s still kicking around, being a giant pain in the ass today! That was 20 years ago and he hasn’t had a scare since then. And the bastard still doesn’t do shit for his health!
