Heads up: F-stop gear bags

I am also a photographer, and in the photography community, F-stop bags are known as some of the most flexible and reliable bags available.

The system is that you buy an internal camera unit (ICU), and then the ICU can be fitted in different high quality bags.

They are not cheap though

The XL pro ICU will hold and AX8/FX8 http://shop.fstopgear.com/us/product/icu/xl-pro-icu.html - you can use the padding to make small rooms for cables and accessories.

They have several different backpacks that will hold this ICU - here is one of them, it is carry-on compliant http://shop.fstopgear.com/us/ajna.html. I have one of the larger (70L) backpacks, and what I have done, when I travel with camera gear, is to put my ICU in my carry-on roller suitcase, and then check-in the backpack filled with clothing and other stuff.

I know this gear is mostly aimed for outdoor people, and I do not really see anybody climbing Mt Everest to play a gig with their Ax8, but it is just really high quality gear with a neat solution for carrying/protecting your gear.

DISCLAIMER: I have absolutely no affiliation with F-stop, but I do own several of their products (two bags and two ICUs) and I absolutely love the quality they provide.
