Hayseed amp tone match?

Anyone ever tone match a Hayseed 15\30 amp?

it's a straight up AC30 clone....why not just roll with what's in the box?

Doesn't seem the same to me. The Axe AC30 seems to have a lot more gain\breakup on it than my Hayseed. If I crank the master vol down, I lose all the mojo... The Hayseed has a ton of clean headroom

There are many other similar amp models, but an AC30-style amp with clean headroom sounds good to me.

Try decreasing the power amp bias a little and the transformer match.

To make an AC30 with headroom, the builder must be reducing the bass/ and/or ow mids early on.

I've owned a Hayseed and the Morgan AC20 model sounds awfully close to what I remember the Hayseed sounding like.
