I didnt hear back from FAS, so I'm asking the forum.

There's a whole thread of user rigs w/MFCs in them -- so definitely getting to users. There's a wait list you can get on.

FAS posted that the original shipment would be enough to substantially cover the waiting list. They weren't reserved for the waiting list, however, and it seems that most were sold on a first-come basis. It has been posted that a new shipment is due later this month, so it will be interesting to see if FAS anticipated the demand a little better this time. It appears that they are posted for sale a few at a time, perhaps related to the size of Cliff's trunk...

Well, I'm already parked on the MFC sales page and compulsively hitting 'add to cart' about 10 times a day, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch! Maybe we could work out a group buy where we buy all of them and then I wander around the country burnin' dinosaur bones delivering them. That oughtta be at least a year-long vacation with all the inevitable jammin & jabberin! :idea Hey . . . 8)
