Has the gate been improved, or is it just the way the amps interact?

Hey folks,

I feel like the gate has either improved, or it's the way that the gate interacts with the new amp feel and dynamics. It seems like the gate is smoother, less wompy on my presets. I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced this.

I noticed this as well, my high notes are no longer getting cutoff as quick as in previous versions.

I've noticed it too. In previous firmware versions, I preferred having the gate completely off. Even at low settings it seemed to make for a stiffer feel when playing. With FW 10, not so much.

I noticed this too and thought it was just all in my head!!!! :lol

I didn't change anything in the gate algorithm but I DID change the default attack time. For a guitar gate you typically want the attack time as short as possible and I don't think people realize this so I changed the default value.
