Has anyone tried the Celestion Lead 80 + a V30 in a 2X12 with their Axe?

I've got an Avatar Vintage 2X12 (basically a bogner clone) with 2 hellatone 60's in it and I'm wondering how a classic lead 80 would sound mixed with the V30 in a 2X12 cab.
anyone try this combo with their Axe/power amp/cab rig?
this is one speaker I've never used before
 
Classic Lead 80 is one of my favorite speakers. Love the highs on this speaker -- Not shrill. Bass holds up nicely when pushed. does not get mushy.

Sounds great with D Style amps especially HRM's with a more marshall voicing on the OD.

Have not tried it with the Axe -- but I did use them with my Bludtone and Carol Ann amps.
 
Thinking of the same. I have a V30/G12H combo at present and love it, but the G12H does lower the cabs power handling to 60w. Changing it for a CL80 would raise that to 120w -but just not sure how close it would sound.
 
ok I'm going to give this a go ( a craigslist local had one listed but it vanished I'll keep my eyes open)
