Has anyone tried a peavey ipr 1600?

Haven't tried one, but I noticed they only give power ratings going into a 2 ohm and 4 ohm load. What is the impedance of your cab/FRFR monitor?

EDIT: Found the specs on Peavey's web site. It pushes 300W per channel into an 8 ohm load, which is pretty close to the power that a Matrix GT1000FX pushes (325W).

The Peavey is Class D, whereas the Matrix is Class A/B. But, hey... give it a try! GC's return policy is great, so why not? :D

My bassist has one. I'm gonna try it this weekend and let you know what I find out! I'm actually using a blackstar 4x12 cab.
 
I run an all tube old carvin power amp. I'm just looking to ditch the 50 lbs it brings with it.
