Happy Straya day!

I heard you guys have to check your shoes for deadly spiders in the morning, so I assume an Australian who isn't dead yet has his shit at least somewhat together. :) More so on average than people from most other countries.

There is an ongoing debate here about Australia Day and what it represents with regard to the indigenous peoples.

As well as being stunningly beautiful, the above pic is poignant on many levels.

I hope it prompts investigation and thought.
