Hi guys, I know this has been some weeks ago but couple of friends of mine in a doom metal band called Hamferð won the wacken metal battle 2012. Thus winning a world wide record deal with nuclear blast.
This is a big deal for them and ensures them a world wide audience.
I had the luxury of playing with them for a couple of gigs as a stand in guitarist, and it's truly an amazing experience playing with them live.
The band is from The Faroe Islands and the music is Doom Metal. The lyrics are all in native tounge (Faroese) a language only spoken by about 60.000 people.
